Over the past twelve years, “Persatuan Kebajikan Bersatu Kajang Selangor” has been dedicated to addressing the needs of impoverished families by consistently offering them a helping hand in their times of difficulty. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on them financially, and many have lost their jobs and means of livelihood. There are many families in our community who are still struggling to make ends meet are now living below the poverty line, and are in critical need of assistance.

Our mission is to ’CARE FOR THE NEEDY'. To meet the goals of our mission and continually provide services in our community we greatly rely on the generosity of businesses, individuals and well-wishers for support. This allows us to continue providing much-needed help to those in need. Unfortunately, we are only able to offer aid temporarily due to our limited financial resources, which are mainly derived through our fundraising dinner every year.

Apart from our ongoing financial aid for the needy, we have planned the following projects for this year:

a)   A three-month tailoring course for Indian women in the B40 group to empower them with skills to open up their own tailoring business upon completion.
b)   Providing financial aid and educational assistance to deserving school going children from very impoverished families in our Indian community.
c)   A blood donation drive.
d)  To have a permanent PKBK office space to facilitate us to conduct our meetings and training and development programs aimed at empowering the lives of the disadvantaged people in the Indian community.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned objectives, we have started a ‘Fundraising Drive’ to generate funds for our association. Our goal is to raise at least RM100,000.00 this year. It is a mammoth task, but we firmly believe that, with the help of generous funding from individuals, corporations, and hopefully the Government we can make our fundraising venture a reality.

In this respect, we take this opportunity to humbly appeal to your good self to support our cause by funding our organization. ‘Persatuan Kebajikan Bersatu Kajang Selangor’, as a non-profit organization, deeply values transparency and accountability when it comes to how donations and funds we receive are utilised. Annual financial returns are submitted to the Registry of Societies (ROS) Malaysia in compliance with statutory requirements without fail. We also strictly ensure that all donations and funds generated, defraying operational costs, go directly back to the poor and destitute people in our community.
